* History     
 The F-84G was made by the Republic Co. of the US, equipped with a J35-A-29 axial-flow engine of 5,600 pounds thrust power. Its maximum speed is 410 nautical miles per hour and service ceiling is 45,000 feet. It carries six 0.05-inch machine guns, and can be equipped with two 1,000-pound bombs or thirty-two 5-inch rockets on wings.

 It came into service in 1953 as the first jet fighter by the ROC Air Force, and shot down two Mig-17s and wounded two Mig-17s of the PROC during missions over the Taiwan Strait on July 21, 1956.
