C-118 (Weight-lifting King)
History
The C-118, an excellent intermediate range air transportation aircraft, was made by the Douglas Co. of the US, equipped with four R-2800-CB17 reciprocating engines of each with 2,500 horse powers. The air-conditioning system was installed inside the aircraft. It embarks 54 persons, or 76 soldiers (or 60 litters). It came into the Air Force service for the missions of special flight in 1966.
