　The 2015 Rural Aerospace Camp in Luodong Junior High School, Yilan County, was co-organized by faculty members and students from both the R.O.C. Air Force Academy and Cheng Shiu University. On January 21st, they set out from Kaohsiung and headed to Luodong Junior High School to hold a DIY activity of making hand launch gliders, water rockets and flying cans. Due to the winter vacation, not all the students in the junior high school took part. However, the smaller number of participants ensured better teaching quality, as the instructors could interact on a one-on-one basis with nearly every participant. Making full use of the human resources on hand, the four instructors, three teaching assistants and nine graduate student instructors, got to exchange ideas with the participants. Teachers from Luodong Junior High School, who were also present that day, all agreed that the DIY activity was fascinating and impressive. This activity also witnessed one astounding achievement. The duration of flight for one of the hand launch gliders reached a record-high 15.13 seconds.
