Our school’s commanding officer, Colonel Chang, led 30 students to participate in the New Year’s Day flag-raising ceremony on January 1st at 0600 hours in front of the Presidential Office Building.
Senior student Yin-Long Huang expressed his thoughts, saying that this is his fourth time participating in the Presidential Office flag-raising ceremony. Each year, participants wearing the dignified Air Force Academy Uniform, showcase their patriotism and their determination to face the cold winter. During the ceremony, they stood at attention and saluted as they watched the national flag slowly rise, demonstrating the patriotic spirit of military school students.
The commanding officer expressed gratitude to the public for their longstanding support of national defense and wished everyone a happy New Year in 2024, hoping for successful endeavors in all aspects. They pledged to continue their unwavering efforts in defending the country and safeguarding airspace security.
