Present military officers approved for retirement or retired reserved flight officers who have been an officer (including cadet years) for over 20 years.

- Total hours of flying
Over 1,000 hours, regardless of aircraft types
- Physical requirements
- Present military officers should submit a physical examination report from within the last year; retired reserved flight officers should submit a physical examination report from within the last six months (within six months before the closing date of application), and one copy of the air crew physical examination (pass) certificate issued by an armed services hospital with air crew physical examination services.
- After receiving an acceptance notice, applicants should submit the required documents by the deadline. Applicants failing to submit documents by the deadline or applicants failing the physical examination will not be admitted.
Required documents
- ROC citizen ID card (the photocopy of the front and back) and one 2-inch portrait photo (taken within the last 6 months).
- One military service record [including data of performance evaluation, experience, and rewards and discipline or related support documents (reserved servicemen may apply directly for the record to the Armed Forces Reserve Command of the service registration location)].
- One flying time record (original copy)
- Training officer certification (original copy of all support documents of flying hours)
- One physical examination report (original copy) issued by an armed forces hospital (no need to submit during the application; submit during report for acceptance).
- Present servicemen should submit the document of approval issued by a commanding officer with personnel authority (CAFA staff should submit a report of approval).
- Reserved servicemen should submit a “Criminal Record” issued by the police.
