- ROC citizenship.
- Associate professor and above (approved by MOE evaluation) holding a doctorate in areas relating to French, Japanese, German, Arabic, or Spanish; having passed the CEFR C1 and above examination for English and published a minimum of one academic paper in a SCI or SSCI journal or two academic papers in a TSCI, TSSCI, or THCI journal within the past three years. Applicants specializing in general education, the arts, journalism, and physical education (PE) should have published a minimum of three academic papers in a journal with a double-blind peer review mechanism. Academic papers published in various journals shall be relevant to the teaching areas of applicants.
